Job Description
Client is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week Med-Surg/Tele travel contract. The RN will provide patient-centered nursing care, assess patient needs, administer appropriate care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
- Provide patient and family education tailored to individual needs.
- Coordinate and delegate nursing responsibilities appropriately.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow applicable nursing standards and regulations.
- Promote patient safety, quality care, and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
- Current RN license valid in the state of practice.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience.
- Registered nurse diploma required; ADN or BSN preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Med-Surg/Tele or Med-Surg/Renal experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform duties in a physically demanding clinical environment.
- Routine exposure to blood, body fluids, and other healthcare-related occupational risks.
