Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry Nurse in Ukiah responsible for delivering coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients based on established standards of care and the nursing process. The role involves supervising and directing the activities of various levels of nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines, and utilizing critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent discretion.

Job Details

• Position Description: Delivers patient care in a 50-bed acute care medical center with level IV trauma and level II intensive care nursery services, supporting outpatient surgery and diagnostic services along with advanced wound care programs.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred, acute care facility experience preferred, Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM, 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Collects relevant data pertinent to the patients health, analyzes assessment data, develops and implements care plans, and evaluates progress toward outcomes. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide safe, healing, and humane care. Participates in discharge planning and delegates duties appropriately within the healthcare team.
