**Exciting Opportunity for Med Surg RN at Mercy Hospital South!** **Job Description:** - **Role:** Registered Nurse (RN) - **Specialty:** Med Surg/Tele - **Location:** St. Louis, MO - **Shift:** Night shifts, 1900-0730 - **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** Choose between 36 or 48 hours (to be indicated on submission form) - **Assignment Length:** 13 weeks - **Weekend Hours:** Required as per facility needs, typically every other weekend - **Call Requirements:** None - **Required Licensure:** Current RN License (eligible or licensed in Missouri) - **Required Certifications:** BLS from AHA only - **Preferred Certifications:** ACLS from AHA only - **Years of Experience:** Minimum 1 year in Med Surg - **Float Requirements:** May be required to float to a similar or lower acuity unit **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 60 - **Patient Ratios:** 1:5/6 - **Equipment:** Bladder scanner, vein finder, IV pumps, wound vacs - **EMR:** EPIC **Hiring Profile:** - **Must Have Skills/Experience:** 1 year Med Surg experience (inpatient only) - **Type of Patients on Unit:** Medical - **Personality Fit:** Team-oriented, dependable, flexible **Dress Code:** - **Scrub Color:** Black - **Unacceptable Attire:** Anything other than scrubs in the specified color **Auto Offer Guidelines:** - Flexible guaranteed hours - 36 or 48 hours (to be listed on submission form) - Blocked scheduling may be approved based on facility requirements (to be listed on submission form) - RTO of 5 days or less; must make up the week on the back end - Holiday RTO: Only 1 request per assignment - Auto Offers hinge on facility approval and may be retracted within 48 hours - Night shift orientation occurs on day shift; must be available the entire week for orientation **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
