Patients are received from various sources, including the Emergency Department and Medical Intensive Care Unit.
A wide range of medical diagnoses is seen, including diabetes, COPD exacerbations, and wounds.
Nurses are expected to provide safe, competent, and effective care.
Every effort is made to create a supportive learning environment for all team members.
Nurses will participate in interdisciplinary rounding with a focus on patient care and quality issues.
Staffing includes support from various teams, including physical therapy and pharmacy.
