Experience in post-surgical and observation care is required. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6 or 1:7 during shifts. All requested time off must be included at the time of submission. Candidates accepted for this position must be able to work weekends as needed. The patient population includes adults and geriatric patients. The daily census is approximately 42 patients. This unit offers interdisciplinary support from multiple services. Travelers are required to have completed at least one previous travel assignment.
