The position requires three 12-hour night shifts. Staffing ratios are typically 1:5-6. The patient care team consists of RNs, CNAs, and support staff. Candidates must have experience with remote telemetry monitoring. Experience with the EPIC charting system is required. Charge RN experience is preferred. All RNs must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed). The role involves management of various medical procedures and patient care tasks. Candidates should be familiar with handling and managing intravenous lines, oxygen administration, and wound care. The job includes caring for adult and geriatric patients with general surgical needs. Interdisciplinary support is available from various health professionals. When necessary, RNs may be floated to other areas for patient care. This position requires adhering to isolation precautions and infection control protocols.
