ND Global Consulting Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Atlanta, Georgia.
Join our team as a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in MedSurg/Telemetry in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a travel role with a guaranteed 36 hours per week on day shifts. You will work in a dynamic 38-bed unit, providing care to adults over the age of 65. Common conditions include trauma, falls, fractures, and motor vehicle collisions. Your responsibilities will include managing trauma patients, administering Heparin drips, and other acute medications, while focusing on hospital-acquired delirium prevention, early mobility, and fall prevention. You will work with specialized equipment such as gait belts, geriatric chairs, and physical therapy tools. This role requires BLS and ACLS certifications, documented med/tele experience, and familiarity with EPIC EMR. Your expertise in geriatrics, trauma care, and orthopedic trauma will be pivotal, alongside your ability to communicate effectively with families and ensure patient safety.
