Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Tele

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing to join our team. This position involves working nights with a 3x12 hour shift schedule, providing essential patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and support to patients in the MS/Tele unit.
  • Conduct patient assessments and implement care plans.
  • Administer medications through the Omnicell medication system.
  • Perform specialized procedures including post heart cath care, dialysis catheter placements, thoracentesis, and incision & drainage (I&D).
  • Float to similar units as needed based on patient care requirements.
  • Participate in weekend coverage on an alternating schedule based on needs.

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing.
  • At least one year of experience using EPIC systems.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
  • First-time travelers will be considered based on relevant experience.

Schedule

This position requires night shifts with a 3x12 hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:30. Flexibility to float to similar units and cover weekends is necessary.
