Must-Have:
- Competent with cardiac medications (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Cardine, Dobutamine, Lasix, Bumex) and knowledge of titration and application of these medications
- Competent in telemetry and possess knowledge of heart rhythms
- Possess critical thinking skills, able to recognize changes in patient status and intervene
- Knowledge of signs and symptoms of stroke, recognize changes in patient status and intervene
- Strong communication skills
Description:
This position follows a clinical interview process.
Candidates can expect outreach within two hours via phone and text where applicable.
Decisions are typically made the same day or by the next business day.
Applicants seeking more than 7 days off or more than 50% of holidays off will not be eligible for the same processing timeline.
The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients during their shift.
RN responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using age-specific criteria.
Judgments are based upon scientific knowledge and clinical skills.
The RN assists in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff such as LPN/PCT and Unit Secretaries.
