Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $1,969 per week in Maryville, TN

The unit provides diverse patient care experiences in medical surgical and telemetry settings, allowing you to utilize your advanced skills while serving adult and geriatric populations in a community teaching hospital. Competency in IV management, central line care, telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, feeding tube management, PICC line care, and other medical surgical skills.

Schedule: 3x12 night shifts (1845-0715), every other weekend coverage required. Patient ratio typically 1:6. 30-bed unit with daily census of 15-20 patients.

• Floating may be required to similar units based on clinical competencies and census needs
• Two pre-approved time-off periods available during assignment

Requirements:

• Active Tennessee RN license or multistate compact license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Community hospital and teaching hospital experience preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Competency in IV management, central line care, telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, feeding tube management, PICC line care, and other medical surgical skills
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions; COVID-19 vaccination not required
