Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Multispecialty Telemetry unit. This role involves providing high-quality care to medical, surgical, and cardiac patients requiring telemetry monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

Provide care to 4-5 patients per nurse, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Collaborate with CNAs and the unit secretary to deliver effective patient care on all shifts.
Float to various units or nearby facilities as needed based on staffing requirements.
Utilize the Omnicell medication system for safe medication administration.
Document patient care accurately using the EPIC system, requiring at least one year of experience.

Shift Details

This position is for night shifts, working 3 shifts of 12 hours per week. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend, subject to variations based on unit needs.

Qualifications

Current South Carolina Registered Nurse license.
ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
Minimum of one year of EPIC experience.

Team Environment

The unit consists of a supportive team including two Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and a unit secretary on every shift, fostering a collaborative atmosphere for patient care.
