Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Tele

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in a Med Surg/Tele unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment specializing in vascular and urology patient populations.

Responsibilities

Manage a typical patient load of 5-6 med-surgical patients with an average length of stay of 1-2 days.
Perform dressing changes and provide care for patients with wound vacs and drains.
Receive patients from the PACU, ICU, and ED.
Coordinate with support staff to ensure quality care delivery under RN supervision.
Float as necessary to other units, maintaining qualifications and competencies.
Participate in patient education and interdisciplinary care planning.

Qualifications

Active South Carolina RN license.
Minimum of one year of Epic experience.
ACLS and BLS certification required.
NIHSS certification preferred.
Med Surg/Tele experience is mandatory, with previous experience in urology and vascular care preferred.
Ability to pass EKG exam as part of pre-start modules.

Shift Requirements

Full-time, 3x12 hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:30).
Floating is required to other units as needed.
Weekend coverage is required on an alternating schedule, subject to change based on operational needs.
