Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Decisions unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical-surgical nursing with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
  • Monitor patient status and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a Clinical Decisions unit or related area.
  • Kansas or compact nursing license required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification can be pending; must be willing to obtain prior to start.

Work Schedule

The position requires night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week from 19:00 to 07:00. There are no block schedules available.

Job Duration

This is a 13-week contract position with a potential for extension based on performance and facility needs.
