• Schedule Notes: May consider straight 48s or a 36/48 alternating schedule

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Texas nursing license required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Cerner experience preferred
• Willingness to float to other Med/Surg Tele units as assigned
• RTO must be provided with submission

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care in a busy medical-surgical telemetry environment
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Assess patients, prioritize care, and support coordinated treatment plans with the healthcare team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Float to other Med/Surg Tele units as needed to support staffing and patient flow
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in an acute care hospital setting
