Job Opportunity – Medical Surgical Telemetry RN – North Carolina

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), 36 or 48 hours per week available. Weekend requirement of 2-3 shifts per 6-week period. Float requirements apply.
Highlights:
- 40-bed Medical Surgical unit specializing in Bariatrics and Orthopedics with 24-hour inpatient care
- Patient ratios of 1:5-7 with daily census of approximately 39 patients
- Epic charting system with PYXIS, SBAR, and Voalte technology
- Contract lengths of 20+ weeks available through February 27, 2027
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, lift teams, and rapid response teams
- 36-hour orientation with availability required during first week for hospital orientation
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
- Current BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, IV Start, and Telemetry certifications required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Active North Carolina or Compact state RN license (pending acceptable for submission)
- Must maintain hand hygiene compliance of 75% or higher
- Experience with blood product administration, central line care, dysrhythmia interpretation, isolation precautions, and non-invasive airway management
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
