TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27103!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 Years Required License: NC or Compact License Pending OK for Submittal Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: Candidate must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty. Candidates must be open to floating within/near facility per the job description. Candidates must be able to adhere to call-off policy, which is strongly enforced. Previous charge experience is preferred. Candidates must have experience with post-surgical general, orthopedic/spine, GI, vascular, and hepatobiliary nursing. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly lead to cancellation. Unit accepts contracts for 13 weeks. 36 or 48 hours can be offered. If accepting 48 hours, no overtime until after 48 hours. Self-scheduling is based on unit needs and with nursing manager input. Patient population consists of surgery patients including colorectal, general surgery, hepatobiliary, and orthopedic/spine. Target ratios are 1:6. Unit orientation consists of 36 hours. Scrubs are not provided; navy blue or white is required. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. Daily census averages around 35 patients with 39 beds available. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary. Candidates must have excellent teamwork skills and meet behavioral expectations in all interactions. Travel pairs are allowed, provided they are on different units and disclosed. Pre-start modules are non-billable and should be completed prior to start. All testing must be completed within 48 hours of signing. RTO is up to 7 days auto approved, excluding holidays. Candidates must work 2 of 3 major holidays and cannot request additional RTO after signing.
