Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams for care coordination and discharge planning is essential. Basic Cardiac Rhythm certification is required, with an EKG competency exam as part of compliance. The work environment is busy, and teamwork is emphasized to ensure efficient patient care. Additional support services include 24/7 respiratory therapy and hospitalist services. Technology used includes an EMR system, vital sign monitors, and telemetry monitoring equipment. Flexibility to float to other adult med-surg/telemetry units as needed.
