Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general medical-surgical nursing care including medication administration and patient care management
• Monitor post-operative surgical patients and support bariatric and oncology patient populations
• Perform remote telemetry monitoring in coordination with a monitor technician, overseeing rhythm interpretation
• May float to Medical Surgical Telemetry unit as needed
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6, with a surge plan of up to 1:7 maximum

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 1–2+ years of Medical Surgical nursing experience required
• 1+ year of recent travel nursing experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Cerner EMR experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with post-operative surgical, bariatric, or oncology patient populations
• Familiarity with remote telemetry monitoring workflows and rhythm interpretation
• Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling, including float assignments within the unit
