Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Telemetry

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the MS/Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical-surgical nursing and telemetry, with the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Experience in MS/Telemetry nursing
• Accepts first-time travelers
• Local candidates are welcome

Job Details

• Target nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:5-6
• Shift: 12-hour days
• 36 or 48-hour contracts available
• Floating to various units as required
• Weekend shifts: 12-16 per contract
• Unit orientation: 24 hours
• Hospital orientation during the first week, with mandatory attendance

Additional Information

Contract staff will participate in a Storm or Hurricane Team and may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event or disaster. Mid-contract consolidation to a centralized office may occur as needed.

Patient Population

Common diagnoses include dementia, diabetes, COVID-19, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, encephalopathy, GI bleed, anemia, and hip fractures. The unit also provides isolation areas for COVID-19 patients and multi-level care including stepdown.
