Job Summary:
Nursing - Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) - TUSCALOOSA, AL. This position involves providing patient care in a medical-surgical unit with telemetry monitoring. The role requires flexibility to float to other units or hospitals, with shifts scheduled during night hours. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the specialty.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Associated degree in nursing, current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or Red Cross certification, registered nurse license valid in Alabama or a Compact license (no temporary licenses accepted), and 2 years of experience overall in the specialty, or a minimum of 18 months working under a high-level professional license with at least 1 year of recent experience in the field of specialty
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required, candidate must be willing to float to units/hospitals
• Additional Information: The position involves patient-facing nursing care, with a focus on medical-surgical and telemetry services. The facility utilizes Meditech electronic medical records. The role is a contractor replacement, with parking available at the site. Shifts capable of early starts if compliant.
