TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27103!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks or longer Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:45 - 19:15) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Current valid nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty. Float requirement: Occasionally. Weekend requirement: Every other weekend. Description: Registered Nurse position available in a medical/surgical/telemetry setting. The unit provides care for surgery patients including colorectal, general surgery, hepatobiliary, orthopedics, urology, and vascular patients. Candidates should have strong skills in IV start and telemetry. Previous experience with post-surgical patients is essential. A teamwork approach and adherence to call-off policies are strongly enforced. Self-scheduling is based on unit needs with nurse manager input. Candidates will occasionally float within the facility as needed. Must demonstrate proficiency in charting and patient care protocols. Knowledge of standard patient diagnoses and procedures is required. Candidates should also be adept in managing lines and administering various treatments. All candidates must be willing to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. Preference will be given to those with experience in similar patient populations. Additional qualifications will be taken into consideration during the selection process.
