Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $1,897 per week in Seneca, SC

License: Valid RN license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: - Must have at least 1 year of experience to apply. - Must be able to pass an EKG exam and complete cores due to floating possibilities. Description: Shift: 3x12 days. Floating is required based on the needs of the unit. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend, but may change based on the needs of the unit. Medication system used: Omnicell. Documentation system used: EPIC. This is a medical surgical unit; however, traveling nurses will be required to be experienced in Medical Surgical/Telemetry. Unit requests at least 2 years of experience in the Medical Surgical/Telemetry field. Travelers must have experience with EPIC EMR. The daily census is approximately 23 patients. The unit consists of 36 beds. Patient age groups include adults. Patient ratios are 5:1 on days and nights. Special procedures performed in the unit include orthopedic, general, and urology surgeries. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary. Staff may be required to float to other units and/or campuses as needed. All agency staff must be qualified for tasks performed.
