Description:
The position requires a Registered Nurse with experience in MS/Tele.
Floating to other units or facilities is required as necessary.
Weekend coverage every other weekend may vary based on unit needs.
The nurse will document patient care using the EPIC documentation system.
Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience to apply.
Required skills include blood product administration and cardiac telemetry.
The unit will review first-time travelers based on experience.
Patient ratios are 5:1 for both day and night shifts.
The unit provides interdisciplinary support, including IV teams and physical therapy.
The daily census is approximately 20 patients with a total of 30 beds.
This position may involve working with patients of various ages, primarily adults.
Travelers are expected to complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of receiving login credentials.
Modules are billable up to a maximum amount and must be completed annually.
Staff will only float to units they are qualified for, ensuring competencies have been demonstrated.
Reimbursement is available for time spent on modules per contract guidelines.
