The position involves working with adult and geriatric patient populations. The unit has a patient ratio of 5:1 or 6:1. Equipment includes Welch Allyn V/S machines, Hoyer lifts, Abbott glucometers, and Baxter IV pumps. Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred. Common diagnoses include CHF, chest pain, acute respiratory failure, COPD, uncontrolled diabetes, chronic kidney disease, and post-cardiac catheterization care. Candidates should be team-oriented and flexible. An associate degree is required, with a BSN preferred. Artificial nails are not permitted.
