Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry specialty. The unit has 32 beds with an average daily patient census of 32. The hospital holds a Level 3 Trauma designation and is a certified Chest Pain and Stroke Center. Travelers can work in various facilities within the designated region as needed. The nursing team works collaboratively and maintains a patient-centered approach. There may be a possibility of low census call with the requirement to float per regional needs. Travelers will work every other weekend and about 75% of holidays. Requests for time off up to 6 days can be approved, excluding holidays. Scrub color is navy. Additional support includes a phlebotomy team and a 24/7 hospitalist and intensivist service. An EMR system is utilized, and virtual nursing support is also provided.
