Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in MedSurg/Tele.
The unit consists of 32 beds with an average census of 32 patients.
The patient population includes those with stroke, seizure, altered mental status, generalized weakness, acute kidney injury/chronic kidney disease, falls, cellulitis, and non-healing wounds.
The RN to patient ratio during both day and night shifts is typically 1:5-6 and may increase to 1:7-8 during surge staffing.
Support staff includes CNAs, receptionists, charge nurses, phlebotomy, IV/VAT teams, dedicated pharmacists, case managers, and nurse educators.
Technology and equipment used on the unit include EPIC for electronic medical records, Alaris IV pumps, and Philips monitors.
Floating may be required between facilities within the designated region and according to scope of practice.
