ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care for patients in a medical-surgical, telemetry, and neuro unit setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and a commitment to excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care to ICU patients with medical-surgical and telemetry needs.
Monitor and assess patients' conditions, implementing care plans as necessary.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Float to other medical-surgical and telemetry units as required.
Provide support during inpatient admissions.
Participate in scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med/Surg/Tele/Neuro nursing.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Proficiency in EKG interpretation, demonstrated by passing an EKG test.

Contract Details

This position is contracted for a duration of 10-14 weeks, with a work schedule of 12-hour day shifts. There is a requirement to work every other weekend and holidays as needed.
