License: West Virginia or Compact RN License required; pending license accepted for submission. Certifications: BLS/BCLS and ACLS required. Must-Have: Candidates must have a permanent address 100 miles from the facility. Candidates between 75-100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Minimum 2 manager and/or charge nurse references from the past 2 years required. Required certifications must be listed on the application at the time of submission. Description: This position involves providing care to patients in a medical/surgical telemetry unit. The unit has 32 beds and treats patients with cardiac, vascular, surgical, pulmonary, and telemetry conditions. Nurses are expected to float within scope if needed. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Candidates with previous charge experience are preferred. Standard charting system used for documentation is Cerner. Candidates must be willing to receive the flu shot unless they have documented medical proof of an allergy. Covid vaccine is not required.
