This position involves 3x12-hour shifts during the day, with shifts running from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The nurse will manage patient ratios of 1:5-6. Weekend coverage will be required every other weekend. Floating within the scope to meet facility needs or between like units is required. Previous experience in telemetry and charge nursing is preferred. Candidates must have the ability to work in an acute care setting. The facility features 286 staffed beds and a diverse patient demographic. The daily census is approximately 36 patients, with cases including diabetes, hypertension, CAD, seizures, CVA, TIA, and chronic renal disease. The role requires skills in cardiac telemetry, hemodialysis management, and wound care, among others.
