Description:
The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry for night shifts.
The nurse will be responsible for patient care in a telemetry unit.
Ratios for patient care are 1:5.
Every other weekend work is required.
Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be necessary.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Previous experience in a community hospital is preferred.
Daily tasks involve monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing nursing procedures.
The nursing staff works closely with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
Typical patient diagnoses include diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, end-stage renal disease, chronic respiratory illnesses, and arrhythmias.
