Description:
We are seeking a qualified MS Tele RN for night shifts.
The nurse will work 3 shifts per week from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6.
Every other weekend commitment is required.
Floating within the scope to meet facility needs is expected.
The unit is newly built, with bedside monitoring capabilities.
The charge role will be split between relevant units.
Currently, 10 beds are open, with staffing of 2 RNs and 1 tech per shift.
Leadership is available during off-shift hours by phone but no scheduled management is present.
24/7 coverage by a house supervisor is provided.
Eligible candidates must have 2 years of nursing experience.
First-time travelers are welcomed.
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
We prefer candidates with community hospital experience.
Nurses must be open to accommodating block schedules, subject to approval.
Local candidates within a 60-mile radius will be considered.
All time off requests must be included during the submission process.
During hurricane season, all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams.
The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
All participating nurses must complete pre-start compliance on time.
