Job Title: MS Tele RN Nights Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required in MS/Tele, Telemetry, and Interpretation of Dysrhythmias. License: South Carolina RN License or Compact license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS. Must-Have: - Bedside monitoring with telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry capabilities. - Experience in community hospital preferred. - Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs. - Every other weekend availability is non-negotiable. Description: We are seeking an experienced MS Tele RN for night shifts. The position involves caring for patients with medical telemetry needs. You will work with a charge nurse who is split between roles. The unit is newly established with 18 beds available. Leadership is accessible during off-shift hours. You will provide care to adult and geriatric patients with common medical conditions. The patient ratio on the night shift will be 1:6. You must have the ability to interpret dysrhythmias efficiently. Your role will include management of dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring. Participation in 24/7 rapid response teams may be required. You should be familiar with isolation precautions and PPE protocols. You will administer care for various chronic illnesses and conditions. This position may require you to work with interdisciplinary support teams. Candidates who have experience with telemedicine equipment will be preferred. You can expect to engage in patient education and emotional support.
