The role involves providing acute care to patients with diagnoses such as congestive heart failure, diabetes, pneumonia, chronic kidney disease, and musculoskeletal conditions. The position is based on a 12-hour shift schedule within a virtual integrated care nursing model, requiring effective communication and time management skills.

Job Details:

• Location: Lufkin, Texas, United States
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, with shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM; schedule will be assigned by the manager and cannot guarantee block scheduling.
• Required Qualifications: Licensed RN in the state of Texas, BLS certification, minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, minimum of 36 hours per week, and availability to start on 08/31/2026.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with telemonitoring patients and reading strips, excellent communication and time management skills.
• Responsibilities include managing Cpap, Bipap, and high-flow oxygen patients, floating to all medical-surgical units, and adhering to unit-specific orientation protocols.
• Additional Information: Bed ratios are 6 to 1; PCTs are present on the unit; RNs are not required to titrate drips; charge nurses, house supervisors, and nurse educators are available.
