The unit caters to general medical and surgical patients awaiting procedures. Ideal candidates will demonstrate clear communication skills and the ability to work independently. As a rapid admission unit, patient turnover will be more frequent than in a standard medical-surgical unit. The nurse-patient ratio is 5:1, ensuring focused patient care.
