Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nurse position located in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing patient care on a telemetry unit, with a focus on medical-surgical patients. The position requires a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in acute care and telemetry, working night shifts for an eight-week contract starting October 5, 2026.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: BSN degree, current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district, at least 1 year of RN experience in acute care inpatient settings, 2 years of Cerner experience, NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS certifications, graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program, ability to complete a telemetry rhythm interpretation test prior to start date, must reside within 50 miles of the facility.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Highly desired BSN degree.
  • Additional Information: Nurse to patient ratio is 1:5-6, with 16 patients on the unit; two nurses may have five patients each and one nurse may have six. The role involves performing initial and ongoing assessments, documenting patient information, and delivering age-appropriate, competent, and efficient patient care in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
