**Job Description:**

- We're seeking an enthusiastic Registered Nurse with acute telemetry experience to join our Med/Surg team on the night shift!
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver patient care according to established standards and protocols.
- Advocate for each patient’s individuality and foster a sense of dignity.
- Provide patient/family education based on needs and readiness to learn.
- Collaborate in discharge planning, incorporating necessary support resources.
- Supervise and delegate nursing interventions effectively.
- Prioritize patient care and seek assistance as needed for optimal care.
- Maintain thorough documentation of patient data and responses.
- Communicate patient status effectively during handoffs with team members.
- Promote ongoing learning for yourself and peers; consider mentorship roles.
- Identify patient safety risks and work to reduce healthcare errors.
- Safely administer medications and IV therapy based on established protocols.
- Assess and manage patient pain levels, ensuring effective pain control.
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and initiate appropriate responses based on physician orders.
- Act quickly in life-threatening situations, ensuring patient safety.
- Engage in multidisciplinary rounds to optimize patient care.
- Recognize and report abnormal lab results promptly.
- Educate surgical patients and families using current standards.
- Manage and troubleshoot necessary medical equipment related to patient care.
**Job Requirements:**
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Experience: Acute telemetry experience required; 1 year of Med/Surg experience preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Current MA RN License; ACLS certification required upon hire.
- Additional Training: MOAB class required within 60 days of hire.
