Responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care in a medical/surgical telemetry setting, supporting patients with various acute conditions while ensuring smooth unit operations. The role involves working with patients on CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow therapies, with responsibilities including patient monitoring and documentation. - Required Qualifications:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification; Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a related setting; valid nursing license; ability to read strips, and work nights, weekends, and holidays; no specific educational degree requirement specified. - Schedule:
Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, scheduled by the manager, with the possibility of floating to other medical/surgical units as needed. - Additional Information:
The position involves working with charge nurses, house supervisors, nurse educators, and patient care technicians. Unit orientation is provided, and the selected candidate will be required to complete departmental training. The role includes a high level of patient acuity management, with responsibilities to support monitoring, patient care, and documentation across multiple tele units.
