Description:
This position is for a travel RN specializing in Med/Surg/Ortho.
The unit is a Medical Acute Care setting.
It has a total of 26 beds available.
Staffing includes a Charge Nurse, 4 RNs, and 3 Patient Care Technicians on the day shift.
The night shift consists of a Charge Nurse, 4 RNs, and 2 Patient Care Technicians.
Patient ratios are typically 6:1.
Equipment includes Baxter IV pumps and SCD machines.
The electronic medical record system used is Meditech.
Candidates with experience in medical patients and various drips, such as heparin, will be prioritized.
Post-operative radial cardiac catheterization experience is also valued.
The ideal candidate will be a hard worker with a fun personality and high energy.
Patient care experience is a priority.
