The unit has a cardiac population with a patient ratio of 1:3-4. Candidates should have experience managing STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, and chest tube management. Experience with cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and pressors is required. There may also be assignments to telemetry beds within the unit. Telemetry beds will have lower acuity levels. Candidates must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
