This unit is a fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork. RNs are responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients on inpatient Med/Surg units. Patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:6. Support staff will assist with various patient care tasks. Unit Secretaries are available to support daily operations. The nursing staff is supported by a dedicated charge nurse. RNs will be required to float to different units as needed. The facility utilizes an EMR system for documentation. Equipment includes various monitoring devices and medication dispensing systems. Candidates must demonstrate a strong foundation in critical care skills.
