- **Number of Beds:** 22
- **Number of Staff:** 30
- **Day Shift Staffing:**
- 1 Charge Nurse
- 4 RNs
- 2 PCAs
- 1 Unit Secretary
- 0-2 Sitters
- **Night Shift Staffing:**
- 4 RNs
- 1-2 PCAs
- 0-2 Sitters
- **Patient Ratios:** Maximum of 6:1
- **Type of Equipment:** Standard
- **EMR System:** Meditech
- **Ideal Candidate Profile:**
- **Required Skills:**
- 1+ years of acute med/surg experience within the last year
- Ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time
- **Preferred Skills:**
- 2+ years of experience working with Neuro Patients (CVA, TIA, AMS)
- Background in neuro/neuro-surgery or ortho preferred
- Med/Surg/Telemetry experience is acceptable
- **Key Procedures:**
- Care of med/surg patients
- Standard nursing skills: IV insertions, urinary catheter care, central line maintenance
- Medication administration and care team communication
- Documentation in EHR, Continuous Bladder Irrigation, NGT insertion/maintenance
