TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Tyler, Texas, 75701!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years preferred License: State or Compact license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Travel experience preferred - Previous charge experience preferred - Patient ratio experience required - Charting system experience required Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg/Telemetry unit. The position is for the night shift, working 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts. Two years of experience in a similar role is preferred. Travel experience is preferred for candidates. Familiarity with the Epic charting system is required. The patient ratio will be 1:6. Float to units of equal acuity is required. The unit consists of 36 beds. Candidates with experience in trauma level I are preferred. Accessing and managing ports, along with managing BiPAP/CPAP, is necessary. Blood product administration experience is essential. Candidates should be skilled in cardiac telemetry and central line care/management. Healthcare management of CVA and post-cardiac procedures is critical. Knowledge in renal failure and spinal cord injury is required. Candidates should be comfortable with IV starts and maintaining IVs. Familiarity with telemetry and remote monitoring is necessary. Wound care and management of surgical drains are required skills. Use of rapid response and code teams is essential in this role. Qualified candidates must be able to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
