- Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 5 RNs, 2 PCAs, 1 Unit Secretary, 0-2 Sitters
- Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 4 RNs, 1-2 PCAs, 0-2 Sitters
- **Patient Ratios**: Maximum 6:1
- **Type of Equipment**: Standard
- **EMR**: Meditech
**Typical Hiring Profile**
- **Must Have Skills**:
- 2+ years of acute med/surg experience within the last year
- Ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time
- **Preferred Skills**:
- 2+ years of ortho nursing experience
**Typical Procedures Performed**:
- Care for med/surg ortho patients
- Standard nursing skills:
- IV insertions
- Urinary catheter insertion/maintenance
- Central line maintenance
- Medication administration
- Communication with all members of the care team
- Documentation in EHR
