Description:
The unit features 36 beds with a staff of 10 RNs and 4 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs).
The patient-to-nurse ratios are typically 1:4 to 1:6.
The unit focuses on general medical-surgical care and telemetry monitoring.
Non-titratable drips are part of the routine care provided here.
Staffing is consistent across day and night shifts.
RNs will be required to float to all acute care areas, including medical-surgical, general surgical, renal transplant, telemetry, neuro, and orthopedic units.
The dress code requires royal blue scrubs.
Staff members are expected to work 4 weekend shifts within a 4-week scheduling period.
