Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical Telemetry

Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and monitoring patients' progress effectively.

Shift Details

This position offers various scheduling options, including:

  • 4x12-hour shifts
  • 3x12-hour shifts
  • 2x12-hour shifts

Available day shift includes three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry.
  • MUST have a permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license in hand.
  • AHA BLS and ACLS certification are required.
  • Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start of employment.
  • One recent reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required for consideration.

Assessment Requirements

During orientation, the following assessments will be completed:

  • ECG rhythm recognition test
  • SafeMedicate test

An acceptable score on both assessments is required for continued employment.

Additional Information

Hours worked will be submitted using Qualivis - Lotus for accurate timekeeping and reporting.
