- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Hours: Rotating
- Required Certifications: ACLS, MI State License
- Years of Experience: 2
- Float Requirements: Occasional to similar units
- **Unit Information**
- Patient Ratios: 5:1 to 6:1
- Equipment: Telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo pump, Bladder scanner, Dynamaps
- EHR: Cerner
- Manager: Linda Bergren
- **Patient Population**
- Adult and geriatric, ages 18 - 125
- **Hiring Profile**
- **Must Have Skills/Experience**
- Critical thinking skills
- Decisive judgment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Capability to thrive in a stressful environment
- **Preferred Skillset/Experience**
- Experience on a medical/surgical unit
- **Dress Code**
- Scrub Color: Galaxy Blue (Navy is also acceptable)
- Fingernails must be clean and not excessive in length
- Tattoos deemed offensive must be covered
- Excessive jewelry is not permitted
- **Education**
- Bachelor’s degree required
- **Experience**
- 2+ years preferred
