**Position Information:**
- **Role:** RN M/S Tele
- **Specialty:** Medical/Surgical Telemetry
- **Openings:** 1
- **Shift:** 3x12s
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36
- **Weekend Requirement:** 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period
- **Call Requirements:** None (flex shifts to on-call as needed)
**Certification & Experience:**
- **Required Certification:** ACLS
- **Years of Experience:** Minimum 2 years in acute care
- **Float Requirements:** Floating to other units (IMC, ED) may be expected
**Unit Information:**
- **Unit Size:** 40 beds
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:6
- **Equipment:**
- Baxter for IV pumps
- Posey for bed/chair alarms
- Omnicel for drug dispensing
- Zoll for defibrillators
- **EHR:** Medhost
- **Supervisor:** Tanya Hawkins
- **Patient Population:** Adult and geriatric
**Ideal Candidate Profile:**
- **Must Have Skills:**
- Telemetry experience
- Recent acute care experience
- Ability to handle a 6:1 patient ratio
- Travel experience
- **Preferred Skillset:**
- At least 2 years of RN experience
- Preceptor and charge experience is a plus
- **Patient Types:**
- Total joint patients
- Surgical patients
- Patients with acute on chronic medical conditions like CHF, CKD
- Alcohol withdrawal, SIRS, GIB
- **Personality Fit:**
- Compassionate
- Positive, "can-do" attitude
- **Required Education:** ADN
