**Position Information:**
- **Title:** Med/Surg RN/LPN
- **Shift:** 7P - 7:30A
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36
- **Weekend Requirements:** Rotate every other weekend
- **Call Requirements:** Yes, based on census needs
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:5
- **Floor:** Medical/Surgical (19 beds)
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.
- Float to various departments as needed, including Med Detox, ICU, OB, and ER.
- Participate in patient monitoring and management with advanced equipment.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team, including a Unit Secretary/Monitor Tech at the nurses' station.
**Qualifications:**
- **Required Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, PALS
- **Experience:** Minimum of 1-2 years in Med/Surg
- **Education:** Valid RN or LPN/LVN license in TN
- **Essential Skills:** Med/Surg experience; professionalism and patient care focus
**Unit Features:**
- **Equipment:** Welch Allyn vital machines, telemetry systems, Sara Stedy, ARJO lift
- **EHR System:** Medhost
- **Patient Population:** Primarily geriatric and adults, with occasional pediatric cases.
