**Job Description:**
- Join a dynamic team in a 294-bed Joint Commission Accredited facility.
- Work in a fast-paced Telemetry unit with a focus on critical patient care.
- Enjoy convenient bi-weekly orientation sessions with upcoming start dates on:
- 10/12
- 10/26
- 11/9
**Position Highlights:**
- Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Specialty: Telemetry
- Shift: 7P - 7A
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
- Weekend Hours: Every other or Every Third weekend
- Number of Openings: 6
- Float Requirements: Yes
**Unit Information:**
- Total Beds: 22
- Patient Ratios: 5:1 or 6:1
- Equipment: Welch Allyn V/S machine, Hoyer Lift w/ weight scale, Abbott Glucometer, Computers on Wheels, TR band, Baxter IV pumps
- EHR: Meditech EMR
- Patient Population: Adult and geriatric
**Qualifications:**
- Required Certifications: BLS/ACLS
- Years of Experience: 1.5+ years
- Must Have Skills: EKG interpretation and critical thinking skills
- Preferred Skills: Manage discharges and admissions; basic cardiac drip knowledge
- Common Diagnoses/Treatment: CHF, CP, ARF, COPD, Uncontrolled diabetics, CKD, Post Cardiac Cath care
- Personality Fit: Team oriented and flexible
- Education: Associate degree required; BSN preferred
