**Job Description:**
- **Unit:** MED/SURG A5
- **Trauma Level:** III
- **Position:** RN in Medical Surgical Combination 2
- **Specialty:** Med/Surg/Tele
- **Shift:** 7 PM - 7:30 AM
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36
- **Weekend Hours:** Every Other/As Needed
- **Call Requirements:** As Needed
- **Required Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIH
- **Years of Experience:** 1+
- **Float Requirements:** As Needed/Possibility to float to similar med/surg units
**Unit Information:**
- **Patient Population:** Serves all ages
- **Patient Ratios:** Competitive
- **Equipment:** Omnicell for medication dispensing
- **EHR:** Meditech
- **Supervisor:** Caitlyn Hardy, Nursing Director
**Hiring Profile:**
- **Must Have Skills/Experience:**
- Med/Surg/Tele experience
- IV insertion
- **Preferred Skillset/Experience:**
- Familiarity with common diagnoses and treatments
- **Personality Fit:** Professional and engaging
**Required Education:**
- Certification/licensure required to work as an RN in TN
